Laroze de Drouhin is the négociant arm of the prestigious Domaine Drouhin-Laroze, which is based Gevrey-Chambertin. The Maison was set up in 2008 by Caroline Drouhin and has enabled the family to increase their range of wines and appellations. This village-level Fixin reveals remarkable freshness on the nose, followed by a round, full-bodied palate, with tannins still softening.

Laroze de Drouhin is the négociant arm of the prestigious Domaine Drouhin-Laroze of Gevrey-Chambertin. It was set up in 2008 by Caroline Drouhin and has enabled the family to supplement their supply of grapes, increasing their range of wines and appellations. As Caroline explains. “We do not own these plots, but manage and work the vineyards with the owners, hand-harvesting ourselves, and making the wines with the same attention to detail that we bring to the wines of our own Domaine”. Caroline and her brother Nicolas – head winemaker – have found it fascinating to work with new terroirs. These three wines are great value, and delightful.
