Aroma is malty with strong, dank, piney hops. Very enticing! Flavor is bitter and caramel malty, with a piney citrus hop body shining through. Finishes sweet, tangy and a little dry. Mouthfeel is well carbonated even after the swallow as the carbonic prickle lingers.

In 1997 Oskar Blues opened its doors at 303 Main Street in Lyons Colorado. The mission wasn’t brewing beer, but imparting a slice of southern hospitality into the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Offering homemade cajun style cooking and a relentless line-up of world class blues musicians that would keep the parties going into the early hours. The bar had a unique style that drew people in from all around. With a background in homebrewing, Dale figured this special place deserved its its own signature drink, something as bold and captivating as the music and food that everyone loved.
