A special release from the English Whisky Company, featuring the last two Founders Private Cellar bottlings bearing the signature of their late founder, James Nelstrop. The two 70cl bottles include... A rum-cask-matured single malt whisky, matured from December 2006 to June 2014 and bottled at 55.1% ABV. A Sherry-cask-matured, peated single malt whisky, matured from August 2007 to June 2014 and bottled at 55.7% ABV. This set also contains four glass tumblers, a small water jug and a book about the English Whisky Company's founder. Just 238 of these cases were produced.
Distillery Information
St George's Distillery is a distillery based in Roudham, Norfolk. It is owned by the English Whisky Company who are a producer of single malt whisky and other malt-based alcoholic spirits. It is notable for being the first dedicated English distillery for single malt whisky in 100 years at the time of the building's completion in 2006. Their first mature batch went on sale in 2009.
