George Remus Straight Bourbon takes its namesake from Cincinnati Prohibition-era bootlegger George Remus, the "King of the Bootleggers." MGP Ingredients acquired the George Remus brand from Queen City Whiskey Co. in November 2016. This straight bourbon is a blend of high-rye bourbons aged for a minimum of four years.

Remus Repeal Series V is the fifth release in the award-winning Remus Repeal Reserve Series, this limited-edition straight bourbon is crafted with a medley of 5 bourbons aged since 2005-2008, and is crafted to honor the repeal of Prohibition on December 5th, 1933.

Rossville Union Master Crafted Straight Rye is the first proprietary rye brand released by MGP based in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. This straight rye whiskey is aged at least five & siz years in new, charred American oak and is bottled at 94 proof. It was made from a batch of 159 barrels.

The singular craftsmanship of the Masters of Rye takes centerstage with Rossville Union Master Crafted Barrel Proof Straight Rye Whiskey. Drawn from 83 of the distillery's finest barrel reserves, boldly bottled at 112.6 proof, Rossville Union Barrel Proof is a full, but balanced cask-strength rye whiskey experience, crafted to enjoy neat, on the rocks or with a splash of water.

Distillery Information

Headquartered in Atchison, Kansas, MGP began in 1941 as a small distillery operation in the heart of America’s grain belt. Founder Cloud L. Cray, Sr., felt the Company’s location and existing infrastructure were an ideal base from which to grow a successful business that would serve the needs of its customers. From the beginning, MGP has maintained a strong family-oriented culture, kept intact by three generations of the Cray family. This has greatly influenced the Company’s resilience in the face of various challenges, including periods of major domestic and global economic downturns. Collaboration and the ability to adapt to change are hallmarks of MGP’s culture and principal reasons behind its success and longevity.
