Glenfarclas 10 Year Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Glenfarclas is one of the very few family owned distilleries left in Scotland, where the Grant family have been making whisky in Speyside since 1865. Their 10-year-old Highland malt has a wonderful straw gold colour, is delicately light and sweet, with a floral, fruity nose and a long slightly spicy finish.

Nose: Sherry-sweet malty tones combine with delicate smokiness, releasing subtle spices.

Palate: Hints of dried fruit, vanilla, cinnamon and cloves.

Finish: Long and spicy finish.

Distillery Information

Glenfarclas distillery is a Speyside whisky distillery in Ballindalloch, Scotland. Glenfarclas translates as meaning valley of the green grass. The distillery is owned and run by the Grant family. The distillery has six stills which are the largest on Speyside and are heated directly by gas burners.
