Glenmorangie Triple Cask Reserve Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes

Nose: Delicate and aromatic with hints of citrus, vanilla, and almond, enriched by deeper notes of toffee and dark chocolate.

Palate: Silky and full-bodied, flavors of honey, dried fruits, and spicy oak intermingle, balanced by lighter notes of orange zest and toasted nuts.

Finish: Long and satisfying with a lingering sweetness and subtle spice, a testament to its triple cask maturation.

Distillery Information

In the 1730s a brewery was built on the site that shared the farm's water source, the Tarlogie Spring. A former distillery manager, William Matheson, acquired the farm in 1843 and converted the Morangie brewery to a distillery, equipped with two-second hand gin stills. He later renamed the distillery Glenmorangie.
