The Cornish Distilling Co. presents its first spirit, Kalkar, which takes its name from the Cornish word for 'weever fish', a reference to Head Distiller Tom Read's life-guarding days. This coffee spirit was created with just four ingredients, including single origin origin cold brew coffee from Falmouth’s Origin Coffee Roasters in Nicaragua, as well as Cornish white rum (actually distilled in Cornwall!), water and a little raw sugar cane. This beauty looks set to be a lot of people's new favourite way to make a mean Espresso Martini.
