      Producer Information

t was in the year 2015 that the brothers Florent and Julien took over their parents' winery in Cramant on the Côtes des Blancs. At the same time the responsibility for the vineyards and grapes, which were sold on to the big houses by the previous generations of the family: an adventure began. With the energetic support of their father, the two young winemakers, then 24 and 28 years old, managed to set up a completely independent business in a short period of time. "L'Aventure" was the name of their first champagne, which was presented in 2019. 90% of the vineyards in Avize, Cramant and Cuis are planted with Chardonnay, which is typical for the region. The 10% Pinot Noir share is in Cumières. Sustainable cultivation, minimal and only if absolutely necessary use of pesticides, spontaneous fermentation of the base wines and renunciation of filtration and fining are the cornerstones of an almost meticulous, but in any case passionate, pursuit of the highest precision with minimal influence on the natural processes in the cellar. This is how champagne is created - in quantities that are unfortunately still very manageable at the moment - which sparkle with freshness and vitality. Clear, finely diversified aromas and elegance are combined in Julien's and Florents champagnes with inner radiance and individual expression. We are staying tuned and are very confident that we will be able to secure a larger allocation for our customers and champagne lovers in the next few years.
