The Assemblage No.1 from Cognac Leyrat was crafted from a selection of Cognacs from the Chez Maillard estate in Fins Bois. The vineyards are on the top of a hill with a limestone subsoil to produce an elegant eaux-de-vie that wonderfully expresses the essence of its terroir.

Nose: Sweet notes of vanilla and brown sugar.
Palate: Marzipan and summer fruits such as orange peel. The finale is nutty with sweet spice.
Finish: Finish is lingering.

The Chez Milliard estate, situated in the Fins Bois, has developed quite a reputation for producing standalone single estate Cognacs of superior quality.
