Schmitt Söhne is a wine producer located in the village of Longuich in the Mosel wine region. It was founded by Hilar Schmitt in 1919 as a small regional winery and has grown into a worldwide brand with a large presence in the US. It mainly produces white wines from German-grown grape varieties like Riesling, Müller Thurgau, Silvaner and Weissburgunder. The company's wines are produced under multiple brands, including Relax, Fünf, Global Roaming and the Thomas Schmitt Private Collection encompassing many different wine styles and price points. One of the most successful, Schmitt Söhne Family Wines includes a range of different styles, inclduing QbA, Kabinett, Spätlese and Auslese wines from the Mosel region. To differentiate wine styles for export markets, the wine labels include descriptors such as 'Intense & Fruity,' 'Clean & Crisp' and 'Sweet & Luscious
