Mash Bill - 51% Rye, 49% Malted Barley - In 2013 MGPI did an experimental run of the above mash bill. There were 22 barrels total consisting of 4 different char levels.

Nose: Delicate and impressive depth on the nose.

Palate: The palate is very powerful and complex. Smooth texture.

Finish: Great elegance and length on the finish.

Distillery Information

Aaron Chepenik and Jonathon Hensleigh met at a bar in LA in 2004 and immediately became friends. After a couple years, they opened up a bar together called The Griffin. After a couple years of late nights spent drinking whiskey at their bar, they decided they could create their own spirits.
