From Murray McDavid's evocative Cask Craft series comes this sherried Strathdearn, nicknamed Fruity & Spicy. Distilled in the Highlands, it was finished in an oloroso sherry hogshead before bottling, imparting all of the title flavours – and a few more!

Nose: Sticky spiced fruitcake, toasted nuts, a touch of balsamic, and cherry jam.

Palate: Oily malt, pain au raisin, candied orange peel, and black pepper.

Finish: Silky praline, plump raisin, and butterscotch.

Distillery Information

Strathearn is a distillery from Scotland. Strathearn guarantees that every batch of whisky produced from its tiny stills will be unique. Some will be double-distilled, some triple, using a mixture of peated and unpeated malt, as well as a variety of 50-litre casks, including Sherry, rum and Bourbon. It also produces a range of gins and rums.
