It was distilled in 1990 and matured in a white oak hogshead cask that imparted a delightful array of aromas and flavours onto the famously smooth Yamazaki single malt liquid. It was bottled at 60% ABV in 2003 and as a single cask whisky was highly limited in numbers, with even fewer remaining today. A piece of Japanese whisky history.

Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in taste.
Finish: Finish is long, spicy and smooth.
