Angélus 2006 is a full-bodied, Merlot-based red wine from the St-Emilion appellation of Bordeaux. Angelus is considered by many to be one of the finest estates in St Emilion & is accordingly ranked in the highest category.

Producer Information

The Boüard family has been in Bordeaux since 1782, but the estate as it is today was established in 1909 when Maurice de Boüard de Laforest purchased the L'Angelus vines. The estate was classified as a Grand Cru Classé in 1954, and in 1996 it became Premier Cru Classé de Saint-Emilion.
