2012 | Zin-Phomaniac | Old Vines Zinfandel

Old Vine Zinfandel by Zin-Phomaniac is a dark, almost black ruby color that is crisp, dry, yet extraordinarily fruity. This bright and fruity wine has fruity and toasty aromas of berry cobbler a la mode along with fragrant cocoa. Zin-Phomaniac is a medium-bodied wine which has a leafy tannin cedar finish along with hints of light oak.

Producer Information

With a temperate, Mediterranean climate and sandy loam soils, the Lodi appellation produces many outstanding wines, but is particularly renowned for its sumptuous, richly-flavored red Zinfandels. Our winemaker scours this area east of the San Francisco Bay to identify vineyards and grapes that fit the Zin-Phomaniac profile.
