Magnificent estate of Nuits-Saint-Georges, the Chantal Lescure estate was founded in 1975. Chantal Lescure and her companion Xavier Machard de Gramont were then keen to develop their exploitation according to the rules of the art, with a very precise vision of the respect for the environment and the land. In 1996, the date of Chantal Lescure's death, the estate was taken over by the children of the founders, Aymeric and Thibault Machard de Gramont. They will continue their parents ' search for environmental balance and completely modernize the estate. The arrival of François Chavériat as technical director allowed the Lescure estate to take a real agrobiological turn. Now at the head of viticulture and winemaking, he immediately rethinks the entire organization of the operation, in particular the way of working the vines and the winemaking methods. Certified organic for many years , the 18 hectares of vines extend from Chambolle-Musigny in Côte de Nuits to Meursault in Côte de Beaune and are cultivated with respect for the climate, with the greatest precision. As a result, the wines from Domaine Chantal Lescure are very elegant, pure, and perfectly express their terroir!
