Ripe bouquet with notes of dried plums and rum pot. Plus hints of dark wild berries and graphite. Slender, elegant on the palate, dried red and dark berries as well as sour cherries. Long finish, fine tannins.

Hammel SA is primarily known as a wine merchant. But small Swiss domains have been acquired time and again for generations, pearls such as the Domaine du Montet in Bex. We are enthusiastic about this winery, which for me is one of the most exciting vineyards in Vaud. The red wines Quatuor and Côte Rousse correspond to a southern, spicy wine concept, the wines impress with their great depth. The first Ripasso in Switzerland, of which we have our own bottling, the Cortipasso, also comes from this domain.
