Bright lemon and grapefruit flavors are bracing and fresh in this delicately off-dry Riesling. It's juicy and thirst-quenching but intensely mineral too, finishing on a delicate veil of sweetness. This is an easy-drinking and sprightly but hedonistic sip to enjoy now through 2024.

Producer Information

Just as the carp is part of the Moselle, it is also part of our coat of arms. This remarkable tradition began as early as 1664 with fishermen who, in addition to catching “Karp” – which means “carp” in Moselle-Franconian – also practiced viticulture. Around 1900, the Schreiber family joined through marriage, meaning that the carp no longer had to swim alone, at least in name... Today, Jobst-Julius Karp is the 13th generation to run the traditional winery. After studying in Geisenheim, the qualified engineer for viticulture and oenology first traveled the proverbial wine world from California to New Zealand, Australia and South Africa to Spain in order to gain experience beyond the glass at home.
