The Millot family has been working as winemakers in Meursault for four generations and today they operate a domaine that covers approximately 8 hectares. In 2010, Bernard and his wife Sylvie were joined by their son Emilien after he studied oenology at the Lycée Viticole de Mâcon Davayé. This is a still young but lovely village-level Meursault, offering notes of citrus fruit, roasted nuts and a touch of butter. Best enjoyed from 2023 onwards.
Producer Information
Winemakers family since 4 generations with an exploitation of 8 hectares under own management. The vineyards are spread over Meursault, Puligny Montrachet and Beaune. Emilien took over the helm from his father Bernard, but both his wife and himself are still actively involved. Like many in Burgundy, work is done here with respect for nature. Faithful to the tradition, the typicality of the terroir dominates in the wines, albeit naturally with the individuality of the millésime. Because a wine is and remains a natural product that evolves over the years!
