The estate, owned by Michel Brunet is located in the heart of Margaux, on a beautiful soil amongst some Classified Growths such as Rauzan Gassies and Marquis de Terme. A parcel even abuts Château Margaux. The vineyard was created in 1928 by Mr Ferdinand Brunet, current owner’s great-grand father who worked as cooper in Château Margaux and progressively bought to Château Palmer and Durfort, their most beautiful parcel, located on the plateau of Margaux . The name Barraillots comes from barrails that means the small fences surrounding the parcels.
