Nose: Aroma of dark chocolate, linseed oil, dark cherries and smoky peat.

Palate: Notes of plums, black fruit, seaweed and orange marmalade, which is complemented by a bold and peaty undertone.

Finish: Long and deep, with lingering notes of chili peppers and chocolate.

"This is masterfully distilled. The nose is of oily peaty smoke, dark cherries/plum, not certain on the plum part, and some bitter chocolate. The palate is citrus sweet like an orange or tangerine, seaweed/kelp, followed by salty peaty smoke. Finish is of a dark chocolate, savory spice, and lengthy peat. On the very backend of the finish, you've got savory chili pepper. That high ABV, peat, and the chocolate mask the chili pepper so well, but the heat still cuts through. If you like a sweet before the heat, you'll enjoy this as it only gets better with each sip as you get a deeper burn & the more intense the peat becomes. None of the sweetness or other flavors are lost, either. So drink to your heart's content, though be warned, may cause a bit of heartburn for the feint of heart."
