Detailed Description
Single cask single malt from BenRiach and the distillery's 16th batch of single cask bottlings. This one was matured for 13 years in a rum barrel, from May 2005 to 2019, and was bottled at cask strength with an outturn of 254 bottles. Plenty of the tropical fruit deliciousness of the rum comes through in the final whisky, making for a lip-smacking dram.

Nose: Tropical fruits and vanilla with chocolate, coconut and marshmallow.
Palate: More tropical fruits with pineapple, pear and papaya with a sweet coconut note.
Finish: Smooth with honeyed melon and cream lingering.

The BenRiach distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in the Speyside area of Scotland. It is currently owned by Brown-Forman Corporation after being purchased on 1 June 2016 as a subsidiary from the BenRiach Distillery Company Limited, formed by two South African funding partners, Geoff Bell and Wayne Keiswetter, and Scotch whisky expert Billy Walker.
