A wonderful addition to the Xtra Old Particular range by Douglas Laing – a stunning 25 year old single cask single malt from the Blair Athol Distillery! It was distilled back in September 1995 and rested in a sherry cask until bottling in December 2020. There was an outturn of 276 bottles drawn from this cask.

Nose: Plenty of oak char, with spicy hints of cardamom and cinnamon.

Palate: Sweet golden syrup and cereal, green apples, wafts of melon and banana with gentle earthy grist.

Finish: Floral honey, lingering creamy grain and aromatic spice.
