Producer Information

Boël & Kroff is a Champagne producer, founded by Patrick Sabaté, Michel Drappier and Stéphane Sésé. The inaugural vintage from the house was released in 1995.The Champagne is sourced from three plots of old vine Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier all located in the village of Urville. Here, 'calcosol' soil types composed of hard limestone and marl impart a distinct minerality to grape juice and wine. This combined with a south-facing slope creates ideal terroir for viticulture.In the winery, the entire vinification process is slow with extended ferments and aging; recomended cellaring for Boël & Kroff Champagne is over a decade. The use of sulfur dioxide as a preservative is kept to a minimum.Boël & Kroff is apart of the The Spirits Curator portfolio of brands which includes Frapin Cogna, Villa Alvor and Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte within its holdings.
