Distillery Information

The Proshyan Brandy Factory, founded in 1885 near Yerevan, is one of Armenia’s longest‑standing producers of aged brandy. The “Charents” line honours the Armenian literary figure Yeghishe Charents, and its “Extra” age‑statements reflect a commitment to extended oak maturation. This 20‑year‑old expression exemplifies Proshyan’s attention to slow, steady ageing and blending, using grape‑based distillates matured in oak barrels, then carefully bottled to retain depth and smoothness.
