Johnnie Walker & Clynelish - An important element of Johnnie Walker whiskies since the 19th century. When John Walker & Sons built a library of single malts to craft their whiskies, they sought out elusive Clynelish for its unique combination of highland maritime qualities with a warm, waxy embrace.

Clynelish 16 Year Old Four Corners Of Scotland Collection Tasting Notes

Nose: A rich, smooth yet understated malt with quiet authority, this waxy Clynelish from selected American Oak hogsheads has a mild nose with waxy top notes of a well-rubbed waxed cotton jacket and a trace of snuffed candle in the development, on a moorland base.

Palate: The texture is silky-smooth, and the taste is sweet, its honeyed richness balanced by a delicious tropical fruit acidity.

Finish: Some gingery warmth lingers in the medium length, lightly drying finish.
