About considered to be the precursor to gin genever is a maltbased spirit infused with some of the same botanicals as gin; theirs uses juniper ginger sweet orange peel orris root licorice and cardamom. 44% abv 88 proof tasting notes their genever is rich in juniper and citrus peel flavors strong like a whiskey but crisp like a gin. Additional floral notes permeate the palate which accent hints of ginger and malt.
