Aged for 18 months in oloroso sherry barriques (ex-Rioja) from Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana. The peaty part comes from the maturation in our Cask Islay Sherry Edition.

Nose: Great elegance and charm on the nose.

Palate: On the palate it is very elegant, rich and full-bodied.

Finish: The finish is quite unique, rich and long lasting.

Distillery Information

Dufftown was founded by the Dufftown-Glenlivet Company in 1895, and was initially creatively named the “Dufftown-Glenlivet Distillery”. In 1897, just one year after production had launched, Mackenzie & Company acquired the distillery and retained responsibility for the site for the next forty years.
