Tyler Boone is a singer, songwriter and multi-dimensional business entrepreneur from South Carolina. Boone teamed up with Paula Dezzutti Hewlette to create this homegrown Boone’s Bourbon. This spirit is distilled from a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% barley at Striped Pig Distillery in Charleston. Aged in new, charred, white oak it is bottled at a high octane 58.5% ABV.
Homegrown Boone’s Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Pleasant sweet aromas of caramel-corn, baking spice, a bit of pepper, and vanilla.
Palate: The palate is sweet with caramel butter, cinnamon, a hint of smoke, and subtle crisp apples.
Finish: The finish has a burst of baking spice.
