Single malt whisky from Kinclaith is extremely rare and highly sought after. Built to provide malt whisky for the Long John blend, the distillery was only in operation for 18 years, between 1957 an 1975, before being demolished in 1982.

This single cask expression from Signatory's cask strength series was distilled at Kinclaith, the malt distillery located within Glasgow's Strathclyde grain distillery. Distilled on 28th May 1969, this expression was matured for four decades in a single hogshead cask before bottling in 2009. Kinclaith was never officially released as a single malt so independent bottlings are the only insight into the distillery which was dismantled in 1975. This Lowland single malt is limited to just 217 bottles at a natural cask strength of 47.3% abv.

Nose: Deep malt and tobacco. Kiwi fruit, citrus and crème anglaise.
Palate: Dark, creamy oak and buttered toast, hints of cardamom, marmalade and plum.
Finish: Long, toasty wood chips, sarsaparilla, anise.
