Kings County Grapefruit-Jalapeño Flavored Whiskey starts with their Moonshine, the clear spirit that turns into whiskey, once it has spent enough time in oak casks. It's made from 80% corn that's organic and sourced from New York State farms, and 20% malted barley. The moonshine then gets an infusion of grapefruit peels and whole as well as crushed jalapeño peppers. The infusion makes for a vibrant balance of citrus, heat, and bitterness, making for a unique 80-proof spirit that works particularly well in spirits where tequila would traditionally be used, adding a touch of heat to cocktails.
