Known for their award-winning line of artisan rums, Koloa recently announced a new limited edition expression: Kauai Reserve Three-Year Aged Hawaiian Rum. Artfully crafted in single-batches at its Kalaheo distillery, Kauai Reserve is aged for a minimum of three years in select American white oak barrels and contains no added sugar, color or other ingredients. Only twelve barrels were bottled in this first limited edition release.

Kaua‘i’s award winning Koloa Rum has come of age! Their Kaua‘i Reserve 12-Barrel Select Hawaiian Rum is artfully crafted in single batches, distilled from the finest Hawaiian sugarcane, then carefully aged for at least 3 years in a select charred American oak barrels at their distillery in Kalaheo, Kaua‘i. 46% ABV/92 Proof. The 12-barrel batch yields approximately 3,500 bottles. Each bottle is carefully inspected and numbered to ensure their Kaua‘i Reserve Rum is of the highest quality, distinctly different and uniquely Hawaiian.
Distillery Information
Koloa rums are named for the Koloa plantation in Hawaii founded in 1835. Koloa Rum Company claims the distinction of being the first licensed distillery on the island of Kauai in 2009 on the former site of Kukui. They distill their rums in copper pot still batch fashion using local sugar cane and blended with volcanic spring water.
