The Mad River PX Rum is a sugar cane rum that is made in the traditional Puerto Rican style. It is made with sugar cane juice, molasses, and distilled water. The rum is distilled in the Caribbean island of Saint Croix and is aged in oak barrels for up to a year. The Mad River PX Rum is aged in oak barrels and has a very rich flavor. The rich flavor of the rum is a result of the oak barrels used to age the rum. The rum has a full bodied taste with a hint of vanilla. The Mad River PX Rum is not a sweet rum. It has a rich, yet mellow flavor.
