This rum is made from Estate Grown Cane grown on farmland in the province of Herrera and aged for three years in American oak bourbon barrel, imparting of flavor and notes of both baking spices and dried fruit. As a relatively dry rums, Martí serves as an excellent base for building classic rum cocktails. Martí rums contain less than 5 grams of total sugar per Liter.

Nose: On the nose, Apple cobbler with bakers' spice, brown sugar highlighted by cashews and cherry. Savory thyme and cinnamon balanced by coconut.
Palate: On the palate, rich crème bruleé and molasses up front with dried apricot and pineapple. French vanilla bean reminiscent of toasted marshmallow, balanced by a hint of dry green olive midpalate.
Finish: Peppery winter spice with a hint of mint on the finish.
