Mortlach 33 Year Old 1989 (cask 6663) - (Adelphi) Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML

A superbly well-aged single malt from Mortlach, distilled in 1989 and matured for 33 years in a single bourbon hogshead. That cask was opened by Adelphi in 2023, independently releasing a total of 217 bottles.

Nose: Impressive and charming nose.

Palate: A very pleasant, rich and smooth taste in the mouth. Lovely texture.

Finish: Long, delicate and complex.

Distillery Information

Established in 1823 by James Findlater in the wake of the Excise Act, on the site of an older illicit distillery, Mortlach was the first legal distillery in Dufftown. It was the only distillery in Dufftown until Glenfiddich was founded in 1887.
