Matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels and finished in Spanish oak casks, this 18 Year Old from Old Pulteney is an indulgent and spicy expression of the Maritime Malt. Having spent more time in Spanish oak than the 15 Year Old, this single malt has more delicious chocolate and dried fruit notes.

Nose: Chocolate and vanilla with honeyed sweetness and some vibrant spices.
Palate: Rich chocolate and honeyed spice with Christmas cake and floral aspects.

Founded in 1826 by James Henderson at the height of Wick's celebrated herring boom, the Pulteney Distillery is one of the most northerly Scotch whisky distilleries on the British mainland.
