The aromatic combination of blackberry fruit leather, roasted pork shoulder, earth, sourdough bread baked over an open fire and thyme is like a camping-out meal. Red apple and ripe cherry flavors are joined by traces of anise and rye bread. Silky tannins and modest acidity make for some smooth and easy sipping.

The Sokol Blosser family has been perfecting Pinot Noir since founders Susan Sokol Blosser and Bill Blosser planted their first vines in 1971. Situated on a certified organic 89-acre estate in the Dundee Hills, with another 38 acres of estate vineyards under cultivation in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA and Eola-Amity Hills, B Corp-certified Sokol Blosser Winery captures the terroir of the region as expressed through the brilliance of its Estate fruit. Now with the second generation of Sokol Blossers at the helm, the winery is looking to the future under the guidance of winemaker and Co-President Alex and CEO and Co-President Alison. As siblings, Alison and Alex continue the legacy of Sokol Blosser’s founders – crafting exemplary, award-winning wines using sustainable methods.
