Sol Dios is still in it's original form & must be at least three years aged in white oak barrels & fashioned from 100% pure agave. The four sided glass temple designed to hold Sol Dios, is a tribute to where the simple sun etching was first found. When you turn it over, you can see the steps to the inner temple where the offerings to the Sun God were made.

The "Elixir of The Gods," dates as far back as the great Mayan temple. It is there that they found the simple sun etched in the stone. The round sun represents the eye of the Sun God who sees all. His emanating rays representing the eleven simple pleasures desired by all. It was believed that an offering to the gods of this special golden tequila would bring them these pleasures & it is said today that a true sun god or goddess who drinks Sol Dios will see all truths & feel all eleven pleasures, one at a time.

Nose: Flowery, citrus fruit, caramel, chocolate and a little smoke.
Palate: Smooth, soft with a bit of spice, orange peel, earth accents and oak.
Finish: Quite long, with notes of black pepper and citrus.
