It was distilled in 2011, and after eight years in a sherry butt, it was bottled up in 2020 with an outturn of 888 bottles. Smoke and sherry in fine balance here, folks.
Talisker 8 Year Old 2011 - Hepburn's Choice (Langside) Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Note
Nose: Familiar coastal wafts, with a lingering chocolatey note underneath.
Palate: Salted caramel tart, rhubarb crumble, a touch of seaweed.
Finish: Rounded vanilla notes, juxtaposed by salt and pepper crisps.
