This splendid single malt was distilled at Glenrothes especially for The Black Farmer, Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones, in honour of his own Scottish roots. Matured for nine years in a single sherry cask, it's brimming with comforting, fruity warmth and sweet spice.
The Black Scotsman 9 Year Old Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Sugar dusted baked apple with softer notes of apricot, juicy sultanas, and forest fruits.
Palate: Gently nutty with hints of chocolate praline, more cherries, and berries, soft vanilla leads to gently spiced oak.
Finish: Candied zests, stewed fruits, cakey spice with cinnamon, nutmeg, and a prickle of warming pepper.
