"The Virginia Distillery Company story is about an Irish immigrant's dream, tragically cut short, and then heroically realized by his family: Dr. George G. Moore founded it in the Blue Ridge Mountains to create American Single Malt whisky inspired by Scotch, but died during construction, leading his son Gareth and family to continue his vision, blending Scottish techniques with Virginia's unique climate to produce award-winning spirits like their "Courage & Conviction" line, embodying George's core belief to "have the courage of your convictions"."
