Château Rabaud-Promis 1943 is a rare and historic Sauternes from a wartime Bordeaux vintage. A Grand Cru Classé Sauternes from the prestigious Sauternes appellation, it reflects the estate's traditional approach to producing balanced, long-lived dessert wines.

Château Rabaud-Promis is a Premier Cru Classé estate from the 1855 Sauternes and Barsac Classification, located in the commune of Bommes within the Sauternes appellation. The estate's vineyards benefit from the unique microclimate created by the Ciron and Garonne rivers, encouraging the development of noble rot (Botrytis cinerea) that gives Sauternes its distinctive richness and complexity. The property has a long history of producing elegant, aromatic wines based primarily on Sémillon, supported by Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle. Today, Château Rabaud-Promis continues to represent the classic style of refined, age-worthy Sauternes.
