Château Haut-Marbuzet is a well-regarded, long-time Cru Bourgeois wine estate based in Saint-Estèphe, on the so-called Left Bank of the Gironde estuary, in Bordeaux's northern Médoc region. The estate produces a red wine made principally from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.Although the property has existed since the 18th Century, its history as a quality producer is usually dated from its acquisition 1952 by Hervé Duboscq, whose heirs still own the estate, alongside Châteaux Chambert-Marbuzet and Tour de Marbuzet.The Haut-Marbuzet property was one of the original Crus Bourgeois named in 1932 and promoted to the Crus Grand Bourgeois Exceptionnels in 1978. It was further confirmed as one of nine Crus Bourgeois Exceptionnels in 2003.
