The 2017 Upper Barn Vineyard Chardonnay expresses Stargazer lily, yellow nectarine and orange blossom on the nose. The palate reflects those qualities together with a savory underpinning. The texture is both opulent and elegant, exhibiting the balance of fruit and a quartz-like translucency that only age, and the superb site situated at 1,800 feet can bring to a wine. This wine is extremely well-integrated with a lingering, mouthwatering and round finish.

• Wine Advocate: The 2017 Chardonnay Upper Barn Vineyard is profoundly scented of warm peaches, green mango, baked apples and poached pears with hints of honeysuckle, orange blossoms and lime leaves plus a waft of crushed rocks. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has super intense stone fruit and mineral flavors with seamless freshness and a long, perfumed finish.

• Wine Spectator: Minerally freshness accents the structured Gala apple and white cherry flavors, backed by a zesty core of acidity. Savory hints and lemon drop notes show on the finish.

Stonestreet Estate Vineyards is a California wine producer in Sonoma County's sub-appellation Alexander Valley. It is best known for its range of single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay wines. Stonestreet was founded by Jess Jackson in 1989, after the purchased of the Zellerbach winery. Jackson was the founder of the major distributor Jackson Family Wines and was half of the namesake for the brand Kendall-Jackson. The estate vineyards comprise roughly 400 hectares (1000 acres) on a undulating property within the foothills of the Mayacamas mountains. Vineyards are planted across the property and range in elevation from 400 to 2400 feet (120-730m) above sea level. The significant difference in elevations, vine-spacing, and various aspects and exposures of the plots mean the estate has an array of mesoclimates. Individual plots demand different farming practices dictated by the specifics of the vineyard site. Stonestreet has multiple ranges within the wineportfolio. The Single Vineyard collection is sourced from Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay whilst the Estate collection includes varietal wines from multiple estate vineyards. The Library Wines is a selection that have aged in the cellar for at least ten years.
