Made primarily for Pernod Ricard’s range of blended Scotch labels, the sweet and creamy flavors of Allt-A-Bhainne 23 Year (1993) Single Malt Scotch Whisky can now be enjoyed on its own thanks to Alexander Murray & Co. Distilled exclusively from malted Scottish barley, the whisky was aged for 23 years in ex-bourbon American oak barrels to create a uniquely sweet and textured Scotch expression that works exceptionally well whether it’s enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or mixed.

Nose: On the nose, this bronze colored whisky yields a welcoming nose of honey, red apples, and smoke.

Palate: This is complemented by a rich and creamy palate consisting of citrus, caramel, vanilla, toasted marshmallows, oak, and more smoke.

Finish: A long finish of more sweet oak and citrus zest.

Distillery Information

Allt-A-Bhaine is a rather young Malt whisky distillery near Dufftown in the Speyside region. It was built to supply the Blended Whiskys of the Chivas Brothers. The Allt-A-Bhainne whisky was meant to serve as one of the lead malt whiskies in the Chivas Regal blends. So you will find the products of the distillery in Chivas Regal, Passport and 100 Pipers. Today there are no original bottlings of Allt-A-Bhainne. You will only find independent bottlings that carry the name of the distillery.
