The fifth release in Bruichladdich's Black Art series, and their first with Adam Hannett at the helm following Jim McEwan's retirement. As ever, don't expect to find out the Black Art recipe from the Bruichladdich chaps - they're keeping their lips sealed tight.

Bruichladdich Black Art 05.1 Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes

Nose: Dense vanilla and brown sugar, joined by zesty citrus and tropical fruit.

Palate: Pineapple and mango, cigar box, toasted oak, red berries.

Finish: Creamy and long, with another sweet hint of strawberry.

Bruichladdich Distillery is a distillery on the Rhinns of the isle of Islay in Scotland. The distillery produces mainly single malt Scotch whisky, but has also offered artisanal gin. It is owned by Rémy Cointreau and is one of eight working distilleries on the island.
