The first peated whisky in Bunnahabhain's core range.Matured in both bourbon and sherry casks, with a higher sherry influence than Toiteach, this is a delicate mix of smoke and sweet sherry fruit.

Nose: Lovely gentle peat, hints of spice warmth and complexity. Some fruit, smoke.

Palate: Spiced heat opens with sweet fruits, dates, sweet smoke, cracked black pepper.

Finish: Long, house style comes through amid the smoke.

Distillery Information

The Bunnahabhain Distillery was founded in 1881 near Port Askaig on Islay. The village of Bunnahabhain was founded to house its workers. The distillery is owned by Distell.
