Darroze describe their Domaine de Bertruc 1984 armagnac as subtle, spicy, silky and 'simply superb' (not all in the same sentence, to be fair); but that's just not quite alliterative enough for us, so we'll add sophisticated, citrussy (cheating a bit) and sexily smooth as well.
Darroze Domaine de Bertruc Vintage 1984 Armagnac Tasting Note
Nose: The nose is fine and elegant. We feel some citrus flavors (orange peel, dry apricots) with very fine spicy flavors.
Palate: On the palate, the tannins are round and silky. The fruity character (fig, prune, apricot) is evident. Superb.
Finish: Very long.
