Bottled for the Warehouse Reserve range from Woodrow's of Edinburgh, this single grain Scotch whisky was distilled at Girvan on 29 September 1993 and matured in a single hogshead cask (#300525) for over three decades.

Nose: Butterscotch, citrus and tropical fruits, maple syrup, and honey.

Palate: Vanilla ice cream, tropical fruits, brown sugar with a hint of nuttiness, and buttery pastry.

Finish: Medium finish with black pepper and oak spices.

Distillery Information

Girvan distillery was built in 1963 with the installation of its first Coffey still in 1963, which was celebrated with their first official bottling. The reason for William Grant & Sons building the distillery was because of a quarrel between the Grant family and the Distillers Company Limited (DCL).
