€191,95

Whiskey: Glenfiddich 18 Year Old Scotch

Glenfiddich 18 Year Old is a robust and full-bodied single malt whisky, yet remains remarkably soft, rounded and long lasting.

Size: 750ML

Proof: 80 (40% ABV)

Age: 18 Year

Origin: Scotland

Distillery: The Glenfiddich Distillery

Detailed Description

Glenfiddich serves as a kind of true north in the world of non-peated single malts. The 18 Year is undeniably Glenfiddich. Bottled at 40% alcohol by volume (80 proof) and matured in Spanish Oloroso and American oak casks, the golden amber appearance adds a sophistication to the most modest of tasting glasses. The legs are respectable, though they tend to retreat a bit quickly.

Glenfiddich 18 Year Old Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes

Nose: Loads of fruit. Zesty grapefruit, baked toffee apples. Dry, chocolate Flake-y wood and cinnamon.

Palate: Candied fruits and Glenfiddich freshness balances richer notes of dried apricot, more cinnamon and toffee, ginger and dry Sherry.

Finish: Peels and a touch of salted toffee.

Distillery Information

Glenfiddich is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky owned and produced by William Grant & Sons in Dufftown, Scotland. Glenfiddich means "valley of the deer" in Scottish Gaelic, which is why the Glenfiddich logo is a stag.
